Dr. Carin Corbo Dr. Carin Corbo has always had a fascination and a love for animals. She jokingly describes it as having the “animal gene”. It is beyond a love for animals, it is an actual “need” to have them in your life. Her family noticed this “gene” in her at a very young age- as a toddler finding her sitting in a friend’s baby pool with the ducks, having to handle and learn about every type of animal possible and sleeping with her beloved cat “Sneakers” every night. Dr. Corbo also feels animals can sense this trait in people, which helps with trust, bonding and a calming experience for most visits.

Over the years, Dr. Corbo has owned a menagerie of pets including: dogs (from Chihuahua to Doberman), cats, birds, ferrets, rabbits, rats, hamsters, iguanas, bearded dragons, hermit crabs and fresh and salt-water fish tanks. Her dedication continues today as a vet by caring for every client’s pet as if it were her own.

Dr. Carin Corbo attended Penn State University where she received her degree in
Wildlife and Fisheries Science. She began working in veterinary hospitals in 1991
where she found veterinary medicine to be her true calling.

She earned her doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine from The Louisiana State
University where she graduated with honors. Her education and work experiences
have included studies in Australia and Bermuda. She has special interests in laser
surgery and preventative medicine.

Dr. Corbo is a member of the Gamma Sigma Delta, Golden Key, and Phi Zeta National
Honor Societies. She was the recipient of the 1999 Salisbury Scholarship and was
listed in the 2000 Edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities
and Colleges.

Dr. Carin Corbo has served two externships in Dentistry and Neurology at the
University of Pennsylvania and has practiced in Naples since 2000. She has developed
a reputation as one of Naples most knowledgeable and compassionate vets.

Her dream has always been to have a full-service veterinary clinic with state-of-the-art technology, the country’s top veterinary medicine and a warm loving atmosphere.

That dream has now been realized in The Animal Medical Hospital of Naples.

Office Manager & Head Technician
Eva Lopata I was born and raised in Poland where I studied Veterinary Medicine at the University of Warmia and Mazury. I graduated in 2004 and a year later I moved to the United States.

Beginning in 2006, I worked in Ridgefield, Connecticut at a local animal hospital for six years. During that time I visited Naples several times. My best friend and classmate, Magda, lived there.

During those visits I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Corbo and her lovely team. I was impressed with how kind and compassionate everybody was at The Animal Medical Hospital of Naples.

A few years later I was offered a position there and I did not hesitate to accept.

My family and I moved to Naples in October 2014 and I joined the team of The Animal Medical Hospital the same month.

Dr. Corbo, Dr. Palmer, Magda, Aimee and Manny were so wonderful and welcoming.

I am so proud and honored to be part of this beautiful team.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Victoria Steinheiser Victoria is originally from Butler, PA and moved to Florida at the age of 3. Her love of animals began at a young age when her father taught her how to bottle-raise cattle and other “farm” animals. She even had a pet bull named “Bullwinkle” that used to let her ride on him as if he was a horse. She got her PTCB Certification and became a Florida licensed pharmacy technician in 2011. After working for 4 years in both the retail and hospital branches of the pharmacy field, she decided she wanted a change. She joined our team as Head Receptionist in December of 2014. She has two beautiful girls Emma and Evie who have their Mommy wrapped around their little fingers. Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist Bethany Donini Bethany was born and raised in Fort Myers, FL. Her love for animals has been very strong from a young age as she started rescuing and fostering dogs and cats in need with her grandmother. In 2015 she graduated from Vet Tech school where she received her Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She has one fur baby of her own named Fiona, a pit bull mix who she loves dearly. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach, local hockey games and spending time with her loved ones. Veterinary Assistant Manny Saavedra Manny is a household name here at The Animal Medical Hospital of Naples. Manny is the Kennel Supervisor and leading force for care when it comes to Boarding, Bathing, Shave-downs and Playtimes. Manny is originally from Michigan and moved to Florida with his family in 2004. Manny enjoys meeting all the fun-loving pets that visit our practice and takes pride in ‘caring for your pet like his own’. Manny has two pets of his own – “Zeus”, an American Staffordshire and “Chulo”, a Chihuahua. Manny enjoys basketball, cooking and music. Starting his employment at AMHN in 2004, makes Manny the practice’s longest-term employee. Kennel Supervisor Ashley Shipman Ashley was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and moved to Naples with her family in 2001. Ashley’s love of animals stemmed from growing up around a myriad of pets in her home… a Black Lab named Bear, a Rottweiler Mix named Roxie, a Pit Bull named Ruckus, a cat named Lilly and even a Hedgehog named Ryden. Shortly after graduation, she enrolled in Animal Behavioral College and earned her certificate as a Veterinary Assistant. Her biggest joy came in December 2019 when she gave birth to the love of her life, Joey. Ashley is a prod kitty owner of Aayla and Kenobi. In May of 2020 she joined our team at The Animal Medical Hospital of Naples as a front desk representative. Receptionist
